Nannis & Associates is an award-winning structural engineering firm located just 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta in historic downtown Buford. Our firm specializes in commercial projects and our collective design experience includes religious, healthcare, municipal, automotive, hospitality, entertainment, financial, and retail facilities providing us with the versatility to handle virtually any type of project. The firm was established in 1929, and we take pride in a long-standing tradition of well-developed and cost-effective designs. We are continually seeking ways to enhance our methods and serve our clients to a greater degree. We encourage collaboration among our staff on updated design codes and materials, and we enroll all engineering staff in continuing education courses to maintain our proficiency in the structural design field. We are also one of the earliest firms in the industry to adopt building information modeling (BIM) software as part of our regular workflow allowing us to coordinate and design more intuitively.
